. Half Dome .

Me, Jimmy, James, Jenny, and Jerril (the J crew + Rich) hiked up half dome last saturday. That was awesome. Strangely, the climb up the steep part with the cables at the end was the easiest part for me. I think because my arms were totally not tired and i have pretty decent arm strength and hauled ass up it. But at the END, on the way down, good lord was I tired by the end. Jenny and I were limpin around like gimps all monday. and wearing open toed sandals to air out our blisters. YUM! The night before, we camped out in clearing in national forest. this is the first time i've ever camped and slept in a sleeping bag under the stars. It was extremely cool. Except when James busted out his gameboy sp and made noise and an unnatural blue glow (to which jimmy said "Aw, HELL nah!"). haha. Also cool was in the middle of the night when a coyote skirted around our campsite and howled several times around us. neat. Anyhoo, pics are here: HalfDome pics!

. Bittersweet .

Dragonboat season is over. It was quite a season at that. Glad to have a break, but yet, sad that it's over... oh well.
